AARP has established Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) help employees create a sense of belonging at work by designing diverse experiences and fostering relationships. ERGs are a safe, fun, diverse outlet for all employees to engage and participate in to contribute to their individual success and the success of AARP.
7th Generation American Indian/ Alaska Native ERG
AARP 7th Generation American Indian/ Alaska Native (AI/AN) ERG is AARP's Employee Resource Group (ERG) focused on the vast diversity and life experiences of Native Americans in the United States. The ERG serves as a network of employees who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native and welcomes those interested in the issues affecting Indian Country nationwide.
Adelante ERG
Adelante is focused on the diversity of Latinos in the US. The ERG serves as a network and support group for employees who identify as Hispanic or Latino and welcomes those interested in the issues affecting Latinos nationwide.
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders ERG
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) serves as a network and support group for AAPI employees and promotes learning and sharing for all staff interested in AAPI issues, including diverse cultures, connections and communities.
Black ERG
The Black ERG engages and empowers AARP's employee network and colleagues to leverage our diversity to fight for and equip the 50-plus to live their best lives, challenge outdated beliefs, and disrupt aging.
Green ERG
The Green ERG seeks to bring employees together to learn and share ideas about how each AARP employee can contribute to creating a greener environment.
LGBTQ PRISM ERG
LGBTQ PRISM serves as a network and support group for employees who identify as LGBTQ and employees who consider themselves to be allies.
NextGen ERG
The NextGen ERG provides opportunities for personal and professional growth through age-inclusive engagements and offerings so that all employees, particularly Millennials, may thrive at AARP.
Women's ERG
The Women’s Employee Resource Group (WERG) serves as a network and support group for female employees, and anyone interested in supporting female opportunities.
