Summary

Engineer II, Salesforce Marketing Cloud:

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and governance of AARP technology standards and frameworks for assigned systems and platforms. 
  • Ensure optimal system integration, data, security, and business architecture design throughout all stages within the capability lifecycle. 
  • Develop innovative solutions, taking into consideration performance, scalability, and availability with realistic implementation schedules. 
  • Lead design and development of proof-of-concepts as well as architecture design and technology evaluation artifacts. 
  • Drive reuse of common Salesforce Marketing Cloud services. 
  • Implement new technologies and make recommendations to capability managers regarding potential usage. 
  • Adhere to best technical practices and follow AARP technology policies and standards.  Develop the Architectural Roadmap for implementation and oversee technical solutions. 
  • Participate in the development of enterprise engineering and architectural standards. 
  • Guide business and/or capability managers with investment and budget decisions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools. 
  • Collaborate with product leadership during complex questions with business stakeholders and/or partners when determining the technical solution required to meet business goals. 
  • Analyze incident trends and underlying Marketing Cloud system problems to identify incremental improvement opportunities. 
  • Provide level 2 and 3 support and problem management guidance for Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions including e-mail studio, advertising studio, social studio and journey builder.

Requirements

  • Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or foreign equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related position.  
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or foreign equivalent, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or related position.
