The Chief Creative Officer will take the creative lead and is responsible for setting the vision, strategy and focus of Influent50’s creative services competency and offering. The Chief Creative Officer will oversee the management of the organization’s creative department staff and lead all agency creative efforts including design, copywriting, user experience, production, broadcast, art buying, editorial services, and quality assurance.
Accountable for the success of the creative function to develop a differentiated high-value resource for clients. Requires the ability to establish a vision and strategy, and develop new services to deliver against that vision. Must be an innovator and entrepreneurial leader capable of translating client needs into powerful communications. Works in a rapidly changing and highly competitive industry environment characterized by the emergence of expanding digital and community channels. While being a creative expert, must also be able to communicate clearly with general marketing and business professionals.
Position exercises departmental latitude to accomplish assigned work duties and responsibilities and requires broad influence to successfully execute objectives. Directly manages extended team of internal and external (agency) reports and consultants. Significant stakeholder facilitation and management around key initiatives required. Requires sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions independently, often without clearly defined parameters. Supports team in plan development, execution, and troubleshooting of day-to-day activities. Significant stakeholder and client relationship management around key projects required.
Role directs and coordinates with internal superior, peer and subordinate stakeholders and with agency existing and new clients to accomplish assigned goals. Influences superiors, peers and non-direct reports to accomplish goals. Requires ability to navigate and find win/win solutions amongst stakeholders with, at times, divergent interest, but whose cooperation is required for success. Supports positive approach to change management – including accountability for communication, execution and measurement of change -- across a diverse group of provider stakeholders.
Position impacts critical Influent50 business priorities and objectives through their leadership of the development of all new creative offerings as well as delivery oversight of client engagements and new business development.
