Summary Statement

The Business Unit Analyst reports to the a Vice President in ITS and is responsible for providing support in the supervision of programs in the Technology Services area. May mentor interns or junior staff.



Responsibilities

Functional Responsibility

  • Responsible for providing effective leadership, coordination and management skills to achieve departmental objectives performance (quality, cost, service, compliance, associate motivation/morale).
  • Execution of duties is accomplished through coordination and support of group activities consistent with the stated objectives of the Business Unit.
  • Prepares and presents the detailed annual budget for Technology Service Management group
  • Originates and/or is a key participant in developing, planning, executing and maintaining safety, quality and cost reduction programs for their respective area.
  • Develops, and presents quarterly financial reforecast to the Business Unit Manger of their respective area for review and approval.


Requirements

  • Required a BS or BA degree in technical or business related field

Candidate Qualifications

The Business Unit Analyst  will be an overall effective communicator and coordinator.  She/he will be to conceptualize, plan, document and communicate effectively.  The correct candidate will possess energy, develop value-added service definitions and help lead change.

The successful candidate for this position will have the following experiences and expertise:
 

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in related functional role
  • Solid background in understanding industry specific regulations
  • Must have demonstrated leadership abilities; excellent organizational & critical thinking skills; high sense of urgency; strongly motivated; balanced perspective; and an effective communicator at all levels.
