Now that you’ve studied marketing, how would you feel about hands-on exposure to leveraging one one of the best-known brands in the US?



Responsibilities

As an Integrated Marketing Intern at AARP, you will have the opportunity to join our team of professionals and produce market research, develop strategies to engage our 38 million members and potential members, and create and execute marketing campaigns.  You will be assigned critical tasks and get to see your work in action.  You will get to:

  • Leverage and grow your internet research skills by uncovering emerging trends important to our members
  • Discover the latest innovations in travel, retirement planning, life coaching/goal-setting, and discount-seeking
  • Contribute to marketing campaign strategy, messaging and channel selection
  • Participate in ongoing program design and content development
  • Assist with marketing campaign execution and/or project management tasks


Requirements

You Could Be Our Next Intern if You:

  • Are enrolled in an accredited college or university and have completed 2 full years of coursework prior to the start of the internship
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Are proficient with social media and Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibit strong organizational and, multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written AARP will ask you to submit:
  • A completed online application
  • A copy of your most recent transcript
  • Two letters of reference
