AARP California has an opening for a paid internship in our San Jose Office. AARP is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization focused on helping people 50+ live their best lives in their own homes and communities. The anticipated start date for this internship will be Summer 2017.
This internship position will assist our Advocacy and Community Engagement strategies and agenda, which includes:
The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in public policy, urban planning, political science, gerontology or related fields. Must have reliable transportation and available 20 to 25 hours a week.
Intern must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
